Acerca de Sara
I studied alternative communication and statistics in Colombia, I also studied English as a foreign language and I am currently studying German as a second foreign language. Throughout my career as a Spanish teacher I have learned about different teaching methods that I apply in my classes. I am very good at teaching Spanish as a foreign language, working with small groups, individual classes and private lessons.
I am a native Spanish speaker which guarantees authentic exposure to the language and personalized attention. I use modern teaching methodologies that combine traditional and innovative techniques, making learning enjoyable and effective.
I love history, culture and traveling. This is the way I connect with the world.
I have been a Spanish teacher for 2 years.
My pedagogical approach is based on creating a dynamic and fun environment where you can feel comfortable and confident practicing your communication skills in Spanish. With my teaching experience, I will tailor the lessons to your individual needs, so that you can effectively reach your goals. Together, we will explore the many facets of Spanish and, as you progress, you will gain the confidence to express yourself fluently and accurately.

In my classes we will converse in Spanish while learning about culture, travel, life in Colombia. I focus on managing an interactive flow with well-organized lessons that allow you to progress through each lesson.
Mistakes are part of the process and are an opportunity to learn, so don't be afraid if you make a mistake.
My classroom is a space of confidence and fun.
My lessons are designed so that you can feel totally confident to have a fluent conversation of general interest such as introducing yourself in Spanish, ordering in a restaurant, talking about life in different places, traveling, etc. I also help professionals with Spanish language skills.

En mis clases vamos a conversar en español mientras aprendemos de cultura, viajes, vida en Colombia. Me enfoco en manejar un flujo interactivo con lecciones bien organizadas que te permitan avanzar en cada lección.
Los errores son parte del proceso y son una oportunidad para aprender, así que no temas si te equivocas.

I’ve been taking a lot of classes with Sara and she really puts in her whole energy and heart to the lessons and for me to become fluent in Spanish. I learned a lot and she is very smart and good in explaining and have a lot of good exercises aswell. Best teacher by far!
