Acerca de Audrey
Hi! I'm Audrey, a native English speaker from the United States currently living in Barcelona. I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a focus on Neuroscience and a Master's degree in Research in Behaviour and Cognition from the University of Barcelona.
Alongside my academic background, I have experience teaching English to students from different countries, backgrounds, and language levels. I love meeting new people and helping them feel more comfortable and confident speaking English, whether it's for everyday conversations, work, travel, or academic purposes.
I'm a patient, approachable, and encouraging tutor who understands that learning a new language can sometimes feel intimidating. Having learned Spanish myself, I know what it's like to communicate in another language and how important it is to have a supportive teacher who makes you feel comfortable making mistakes.
I take the time to get to know each student's goals, interests, and learning style so that our lessons are both productive and enjoyable. My aim is not just to help you improve your English, but to help you feel confident using it in real-life situations.
I look forward to meeting you and helping you reach your English goals!

My approach to teaching is centered around making English lessons engaging, practical, and tailored to each student's individual goals. As a native English speaker from the United States with a Master's degree in Psychology, I understand that everyone learns differently, and I enjoy finding teaching methods that work best for each person.
I believe the best way to improve your English is by actually using it! My lessons are interactive and conversation-focused, with an emphasis on building confidence, improving pronunciation, expanding vocabulary, and developing natural, everyday communication skills. I also incorporate grammar, reading, and writing exercises depending on each student's needs.
A typical lesson begins with a short conversation to practice speaking and review previous material. From there, we focus on a specific topic or skill, using real-life examples, guided exercises, and plenty of opportunities to practice. I provide constructive feedback throughout the lesson and encourage students to ask questions and learn from their mistakes in a comfortable, supportive environment.
I work with students of different levels, from beginners to advanced speakers, and can tailor lessons to conversational English, American pronunciation, academic English, interview preparation, or professional communication.
Above all, my goal is to make learning English enjoyable while helping students see real progress and feel more confident expressing themselves.
