¡Hola!
My name is Jack, and I'm a bilingual Spanish tutor originally from the UK, now living in Barcelona.
I have been studying and using Spanish for over 10 years. I studied Spanish at university level and later completed a Master's degree taught entirely in Spanish, giving me extensive experience with both academic and professional Spanish.
For the past five years, I have lived in Spain, where Spanish is part of my everyday life. Through work, study, and daily interactions, I've developed a deep understanding of the language as it is really spoken, including cultural nuances, natural expressions, and regional differences.
I also have over eight years of teaching experience, helping students build confidence, improve communication skills, and achieve their learning goals. I teach all levels, from complete beginners taking their very first steps in Spanish to advanced learners and university-level students looking to refine their fluency, academic writing, or professional communication.
My lessons are friendly, relaxed, and tailored to your needs, whether you're learning for travel, work, exams, relocation, or simply for the love of the language. Many of my students simply want to become more confident speaking Spanish in real-life situations.
As someone who learned Spanish to a near-native level myself, I understand the challenges students face and can explain grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation clearly and practically. I also speak French and Catalan, giving me additional insight into language learning and communication.

I have over 8 years of teaching experience, working with students of all ages and levels. I have taught both Spanish and French, from complete beginners to advanced C1+ learners and university students.
I have a strong understanding of Spanish grammar and enjoy making complex concepts easy to understand. My lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, whether that's improving conversation skills, preparing for exams, or building confidence in everyday Spanish.
